For the recipe, white cabbage is used, but no one canceled culinary experiments, so red or Beijing cabbage are also suitable. The set of ingredients is very modest:

  • cabbage - 300 g;
  • three carrots;
  • 9% vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, pepper, herbs.

The recipe calls for fresh carrots, although the Korean version is also suitable. They are prepared with squid, but you can complement them with any other seafood or take a seafood cocktail straight away. So, you only need a couple of carrots, a squid carcass and an onion, as well as oil and various spices.

The carrots are grated and mixed with pepper and salt, crushed by hand and left for half an hour. You can add a few drops of table vinegar to it. The onion is peeled, cut into rings and fried in oil for a couple of minutes, then chopped squid is added and fried together for no more than four minutes. If you cook seafood longer, it will become tough and resemble rubber.

All that remains is to mix the carrots with squid and onions and serve! At the same time, you don’t have to wait for the seafood to cool down; a warm appetizer turns out much more flavorful than an already cooled one.

This ham salad is often prepared with the addition of Korean carrots, but raw carrots are also fine. Despite its apparent simplicity, the dish turns out aromatic and tasty. Ideal for a holiday menu, although it is prepared from a minimum of ingredients:

  • 200 g each of carrots, ham;
  • canned corn, garlic, mayonnaise, dill.

The ham is cut into thin strips and mixed with grated carrots. Add a couple of tablespoons of canned sweet corn, chopped garlic and dill. Mix with mayonnaise and serve immediately.

The salad will be no less satisfying with hunting sausages. If you don’t find any, then any smoked sausage will do. The ingredients are:

  • a couple of carrots and sausages;
  • bell pepper, cucumber;
  • soy sauce, mustard, vegetable oil, pepper.

  • five carrots;
  • piece of beef;
  • two onions;
  • oil, 9% vinegar, parsley, pepper.

The onion is cut into thin half rings. Mix a glass of water with two tablespoons of vinegar and pour this mixture over the onions for half an hour. The meat is cut into strips and fried in oil with the addition of your favorite spices. Grate the carrots, mix with hot meat and onion squeezed out of water. It is advisable to let the salad sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before serving - this makes it much tastier.
