Apple cinnamon cookies. Soft cookies with apples


I used walnuts, but almonds and hazelnuts would also work. My apple is sweet and sour, dense - a winter variety. If you are not a fan of cinnamon, you can replace it with vanilla sugar. I got 15 medium sized cookies.

Chop the nuts with a knife or grind in a blender. It's a matter of taste here. Since there will be pieces of apples in the dough, I wanted them to be felt, and not pieces of nuts, so I didn’t cut them, but chopped them well with a blender.


Beat the egg with sugar and a pinch of salt until light. Add sour cream and soft butter. Beat again.
Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Pour the liquid ingredients into the flour.


Mix the dough well with a spoon. Add chopped nuts and cinnamon, stir.
Add peeled and finely diced apple to the dough.


Gently fold the apple into the batter. It turns out to be of medium thickness.


Dip a tablespoon into a glass of water and place the cookies on parchment or a silicone baking mat. It is convenient to help yourself with your finger to give the cookies a round shape. I took a tablespoon without a slide.
Place in an oven preheated to 180 C for 15-20 minutes, on a medium level. Bake until light golden brown. Don't overcook the cookies!


I decorated the finished cookies with a net of melted white chocolate (putting the chocolate in the corner of a plastic bag, dipping it in boiling water, cutting off 1 mm of the tip of the bag). You can simply sprinkle them with powdered sugar or leave them as is.

I store the remaining cookies in a closed tin jar - they remain just as soft.


The cookies turn out a little porous inside, with moist apple inclusions.


Add the egg to the butter mixture and beat with a mixer until fluffy.

Sift flour with baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, salt and combine with butter mixture. Cinnamon combined with apples is a classic, they are made for each other, do not ignore this step.

Wash the apple, you can peel it (I sometimes skip this step because of laziness) and cut it into small cubes. I emphasize that cutting it gives structure and a special taste to the cookies.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and place walnut-sized balls with a teaspoon at a distance from each other. During the baking process, the dough spreads, this is how it should be, just keep this in mind when laying it out. Bake the Apple cookies in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The cookies should set, brown a little, and remain soft inside.

Here are the steps for making cookies:

  • To prepare cookies with cinnamon flavor and apple pieces, prepare all the necessary ingredients. For these proportions of products we get 12 medium-sized cookies.

So, first, let's get the butter oh, let's cut off the required piece and leave it on the table for a while so that it softens. Now you can whisk it with sugar. You will need half a glass of sugar. However, if you do not like very sweet cookies, then add a smaller amount to the vegetable oil.

  • Add one chicken egg to the bowl. Beat with a whisk or mixer until a fluffy mass is formed.

  • Now sift the flour. Add one teaspoon of baking powder and a little vanilla sugar to it. We will also add half a teaspoon of aromatic spice - cinnamon. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

  • Combine flour and other ingredients with the egg mixture. Mix. Forming the dough.

  • Take a small apple and cut it into small cubes.

  • Add the chopped apple to the dough.

  • Now mix thoroughly again. Grease the baking tray thoroughly with butter. We begin to spread the dough with a tablespoon. To ensure that the cookies do not have a very voluminous shape, you can spread the dough onto a baking sheet and then press it down a little on top.

  • Bake cookies with apples and cinnamon for no more than 15 minutes at a temperature of 180° C. Just don’t forget to heat it well before doing this!

  • We take out a baking sheet with fragrant cookies. Place on a plate and serve.
