There are such types of buns that are perceived in my family as seeds - it is impossible to tear yourself away until you swallow a whole mountain. As a rule, the original version of buns in the form of roses or hearts with sugar from yeast dough is excellent for this role, a simple recipe for which I found with judgment and joy in my grandmother's notebook, where not only a step-by-step guide was presented, but also excellent photos of finished products.

Grandmother knew how to cook literally from any food lying around in the refrigerator, whole works of art. The most delicate structure, excellent aroma and amazingly enticing taste make these products incredibly attractive for young families who cannot afford either expensive ingredients or long standing in the kitchen.

Today I decided to rewrite for you the "same" recipe for very tasty sugar buns, so that you can click them in the evenings when you really want something to eat.

Preparation time: 60 - 120 minutes.

Kitchen appliances

Pick up all the necessary utensils and appliances before starting production in order to quickly and without hassle bake such buns: a square standard baking sheet with a non-stick coating with a diagonal of 25 cm or more, a piece of baking paper and plastic film with a length of 30 cm, deep bowls (several pieces) with a capacity of 310 to 950 ml, a kitchen scale or ordinary measuring utensils, a medium grater, cotton or linen towels, a glass or a mold for cutting cookies from dough, a sieve and a metal whisk. Also, keep your food processor ready, because without it, making the dough for sugar buns is too long and tedious.

  • 100 g of granulated sugar;
  • 1 chicken egg;
  • 50 g butter.

Opara

  • 250 ml of milk;
  • 8 g dry yeast;
  • 50 g of granulated sugar.

Did you know? This recipe for sugar buns is designed for baking at home, so it's up to you to choose the perfect set of products to ensure a successful outcome. The butter should be fresh, with a very high fat content (this is sold in the markets or in good stores), choose finely ground flour, and it is best to use milk that is not pasteurized from special bags, but boiled at home.

  1. Take the butter out of the refrigerator.
  2. Then cut it into pieces (or rub it on a grater).
  3. Leave the butter at room temperature until it melts.
  4. Warm the milk slightly on the stove, approx. up to 35-40 degrees.
  5. Mix flour with salt and sift through a sieve about three or four times.

Important! The recipe for buns with sugar is standard, so if you have a desire, you can prepare some interesting zest for adding some interesting zest to the dough at this stage. First of all, we are talking about citrus zest or nut dust - grate the first on a fine grater, make the second with a coffee grinder.

Of course, in the summer it is better not to carry out such a procedure, but in the winter - please. Just try to make sure that the dough does not “overstay”, doubling the initial volume will be enough for you.

I myself I encourage you to be imaginative during this exciting process, and also try making double sweet buns with a layer of jam, condensed milk or jam - after all, it is not necessary to make all buns the same!

Made, simple sugar rolls are ready to satisfy your slight hunger in the evening and a good refresher in the afternoon. For those who are not satisfied with the decoration in the form of powder, I can recommend a delicate protein glaze, which must be applied to still warm products.

Take one protein, pour it into a cup and cover with two tablespoons of granulated sugar. Then manually grind this mass until white, without resorting to the help of a blender, as it will beat the icing too luxuriantly. Cover your buns with sugar with this mixture and wait until the icing hardens, and you can safely serve delicious treats with tea or coffee!
