Yermolinsky puff pastry, you can buy in the stalls of the same name. There are many of them in our city, they can be found both at bus stops and in the buildings of shops. The dough is very cheap: 38 rubles for a package with two layers. I bake simple puffs, recently it became interesting to see what happens to the dough if you put it in the microwave.

"Yermolinsky puff pastry"

● The packaging of the dough is very simple, transparent dense polyethylene, with a sticker in the center. The sticker has all the necessary information: from the manufacturer to the method of preparation.

How to cook simple puffs from store-bought dough?

● I cook simple, quick, but a little ugly puffs. First, I take out and defrost the dough. I cut the package that the dough is packed in so that it can be unrolled. At one end of the bag I put the first layer of dough, at the other - the second. I don’t keep track of time, I just go about my business and periodically check whether the dough has defrosted or not.

● When the dough has thawed, I cut it into pieces. I used to roll out a large layer, and then cut it, but last time I decided to cut it first, and only then roll it out. Rolling out the dough is key, it must be done in one direction and very "gently". Otherwise, it may not rise.

● With rolling, I came out with a "fail", I rolled out only six plastics and my rolling pin died for a long time. No, it's not about the dough, it's about the antiquity of the rolling pin. Therefore, part of the plastics was rolled out, and the other part was stretched into manual barbarity.

● I make stuffed puffs with jam. It needs to be added quite a bit, literally lightly smearing the dough with a thin layer. Otherwise, the filling will leak out, because my puffs are very simple in configuration: I simply fold the greased dough in half and lightly pinch at the end.

● I do not grease the baking sheet with oil, I lay out the puffs on a sheet of foil. I put, as recommended: in a preheated oven. After, I focus on the smell and periodically look into the oven.

● As a result, I got these puffs (photo below). The right photo shows that the six puffs on the left are more lush. These are the ones that were rolled out with a rolling pin. And three small ones are those plastics that I cut on the floor and stretched with my hands. They came out small and not very lush, but it was even more convenient for us to eat them.

Puff in the microwave

● It was a very simple experiment. I just popped the unrolled plastic dough into the microwave.

● Time had to be picked up in the process. From the beginning, I set the timer for five minutes. But somewhere in the second minute it smelled "fried". Therefore, the approximate time for preparing a puff without filling in the microwave is 2:30 minutes.

● And that's what appeared to my eyes at the end of the experiment (photo below). The dough has risen, but the puff, of course, is not as ruddy and not as tasty as from the oven.

Reminds me of the monster from Starship Troopers.

● The puff stuck to the plate.

● It burned only in two places, but it was impossible to eat them.

● In general, cooking a puff in the microwave is real. I don’t know if I will continue experiments in this direction further, using fillings. Because our electricity is very expensive, it’s easier and cheaper for me to cook in a gas stove oven.

Outcome

● Yermolinsky puff pastry is very, very, at least on the face of matching price and quality. I don’t plan to visit other puff pastries, this suits me too. It is perfect for culinary experiments for young housewives. Or students who have ovens, because instead of jam, you can put sausage or sausage in a puff and it will be delicious for everyone.

Prepare puffs in the microwave ready dough not difficult at all. This is what we will do with you this time. And it all started with the fact that I wanted something tasty for coffee. I looked around in the kitchen, and there was nothing sweet around. Since there was a lot of work planned for this day and there was no time to spend on baking, I decided that I needed to use the most quick recipe that I only knew.

I took puff pastry in the refrigerator, pulled out a bar of chocolate from the bedside table, and already in 5 minutes lush puffs flaunted on my table. You could, of course, bake them in the oven, but not this time.

In general, puffs in microwave oven I liked it and I recommend this recipe with a photo to you - cook, try and enjoy, but now I’ll tell you how to cook.

To make puffs in the microwave without convection tasty and appetizing appearance, as shown in the photo, it is recommended to take the dough without yeast. It is much easier to work with such a product than with yeast dough. During the defrosting process, the yeast product will rise and fall more than once. The hostess will have to knead the dough, achieving perfect shape. WITH yeast-free dough everything is much easier. After defrosting, the product is immediately used for further preparation of puffs.

At the end of the defrosting time, the dough should be coated with cinnamon and sugar, in the amount that you like. To prevent the filling from getting enough sleep, you need to go over the top with a rolling pin several times. Then we cut the dough with a curly knife into as many wide strips as we want to get ready-made puffs. We twist each piece of dough with a spiral so that the filling is outside.

Let's move on to baking. Put the finished puffs on a plate and put in the microwave. We set the mode at a power of 700, the baking time is 4-4.5 minutes. Note that there is no special program for baking puffs in the microwave. Therefore, after the fourth minute, we check the puffs for readiness. Does your microwave have a convection function? If yes, then you can create a parody of Apple pie. Lubricate Foma with butter, the dough must be carefully rolled out so as not to tear. Spread thinly sliced apple slices on the dough, sprinkle generously granulated sugar. throw a few very small pieces on top butter and bake at 180, about 30-35 minutes. Take out and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
