  6. The teriyaki sauce should thicken as it cools. The degree of saltiness may depend on the selected soy sauce. If the sauce is too salty or sour, you can add a little more sugar to the teriyaki.

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce with the ingredients for the sauce: honey, wine vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, sugar. Heat the pan and pour the sauce into it.
